Should I See A Doctor If I Have Blood On Q-tip After Showering?

Hi! I'm a little concerned as to whether or not I should see a doctor. Recently I have been noticing blood on the q-tip after I take a shower. I have not noticed blood during any other time. What can this be related to? Can one lose their hearing from this?

Hi, slight blood on the ear swab post cleaning of ear after taking bath should not be worried about if it is a one off complaint. Slight injury to the skin of the external auditory canal can be cause of it. If there is repetitive bleeding or if there are associated symptoms like severe pain or hearing loss, then there is a need to see the doctor. Otherwise ear bud use should be avoided and and if need be, one should be very gentle. Regards
