Should I Seek A Second Opinion For A Dark Spot In My Vision?
Hello,
Two days ago, I was hit in the face/eye and instantly started to see a dark spot in my vision on the interior part of my eye. The dark spot does not move and is only really noticeable in low light conditions. I went to an optometrist yesterday and had my eyes dilated. She said she did not notice anything and told me not to do anything unless it gets worse. Should I seek a second opinion or just wait?
It seems from the history that you are having dark spot in the vision after injury to the face. Since the dark spot in the vision is following injury this requires examination by a ophthalmologist by indirect ophthalmoscopy to rule out retinal problems like retinal tear, retinal detachment and vitreous hemorrhage.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for eye doctor for examination and second opinion.
Thank you
