Should I Take An Aspirin To Reduce Possible Dot/lung Embolism?
I fell on my knees, and the right one is extremely painful both to the touch and when I bump into something. I have a 20 hour flight coming up. Should I take an aspirin to reduce possible dot/lung embolism? I saw a P.A., and he said I shouldn t fly for 2 weeks, but my flight is this weekend.

Hi Aspirin is not effective for preventing pulmonary embolism. If you think that u are particularly at high risk for pulmonary embolism then u can take new oral anticoagulants like Rivaroxaban, dabigatron etc under guidance of your doctor. These drugs much better than warfarin. If you have any other query then ask. Take care.
