Should I Take Anti Rabies Injection As The Dog Is Fine After Bite?

my husband was bitten by a dog around 2 months ago.........im sure the dog is fine, but cant contact the owner..........when he was bitten we clean the wound w/alchol and peroxide, and continued the use. now i am wondering if by any chance he may have gotten rabbies from this bite?
how can we be sure he is okay?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

If the dog survives 15 days after it bites someone, we can be sure that the dog is healthy.
2 months after being bitten is for sure to late to have any vaccination and if till that time nothing has happen, no symptoms flu like, nothing else needs to be done. And if the dog has rabbies, it will be to late to do anything right now.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
