Should I Take Antibiotics For Step Throat That Resulted In A Slight Allergic Reaction?
I was put on antibiotics yesterday to treat what the nurse practitioner thinks is strep throat. I just recently threw up and broke out in a rash on my chest, part of my back, one of my arms and also my legs. I was thinking that it may be an allergic reaction but the rash went away within about 20 minutes. Should I continue to take the antibiotic?
Definitely not!! you must not continue the antibiotic as his is an allergic reaction and next time the reaction can be more severe, please meet your doctor for another prescription. Please tell him and any other doctor you meet in life about this reaction. Thanks
