Should I Take Diclofenac Sodium For Pericarditis?

I have been on diclofenac sodium for a week now as I have been diagnosed with pericarditis. I had a chest x ray which showed nothing as well as a echo-cardiogram. I wanted a second opinion to see if this is correct. I am still in pain after being on these tablets for 10 days. 19 years, 178 cm, 68kg, no previous heart condition or ailments.

do u have fever, weight loss, appetite loss, joints pain, rashes over face or body, recurrent oral ulcer, contact with case of tuberculosis, any family history of major diseases.
If any of these is present then you need to be evaluated further.
If not, you can try tab Ibuprofen 600 mg three times a day along tab pantoprazole 40 mg beforebreakfast once a day for 2 days and diclofenac should be stopped. If still not responding then needs to be evaluated further for other diseases. Then you may require test like chest x-ray, Mantoux, ANA, repeat Echo may be needed.
