Should I Take Ramipril Tonight If Blood Pressure Is 91/57?
should I take my Ramipril tonight if my blood pressure is 91/57? I take 5 mg of Amlodepine in the morning and this morning about 11 AM took about 15mg of Levitra and was usinf it for about 3hrs. I have been diagnosed with IPF that hasn t been confirmed officially.
Ramipril belong to group of ACE inhibitors, which has more other benifits than reduction in the blood pressure. These drugs are not potent antihypertensive drugs.
Amlodepine is a calcium channel blockers which has good potency to decrease the blood pressure. so advised to stop amlodepine if the blood pressure is low and review its usage further.
Secondly on any night if these kind of fall in blood pressure happens, it is advised to stop one of the antiypertensive drugs like amlodepine and take the ramipril, half the prescribed dosage.
Thanks
