Should I Treat My Worsening Perioral Dermatitis, Considering I M Using Rosex, Lymecycline, Cetaphil Cleanser, And Taking Fish Oil And Zinc?
Hi, I have this (I have been told perioral dermatitis for around 4 months. I have had it before 2 years ago and Fusilidon cleared it up in about 2 weeks. This however, does not seem to be shifting and is actually spreading and getting worse! I have tried 4 creams now from the GP but none work! For a week now I have been on Rosex cream x2 a day and Lymecycline antibiotics once a day. I am using Cetaphil cleanser and have stopped drinking alcohol. I am drinking water like it s going out of fashion and it is starting to really get me down that it s not shifting. I was using the sun bed thinking if might help but have read that may make it worse so am going to stop that. The Rosex makes it very very dry so I have been using a cetaphil cream over the top. Can anyone tell me if I am doing anything wrong and if there is anything else I should try? I am also taking fish oil and zinc vitamins as I have been told that may help. It is very tight and very very itchy.
