Should I Use Levimir Instead Of Victoza For High Blood Pressure?

I am 160 kg, and my sugar test now between 5.5 and 7.5 , I am using 25 units of levimir and 50/1000 galvus met half hour after meal morning and evening, My blood pressure is too high , it reaches more than 170/110 mostly,, I use co-diovan 160-12.5. One time in morning after breakfast, When i was using Victoza, my blood pressure was good , from 130/80 to 150/90 But Victoza now is not available and I shifted to levimir,, then blood pressure rise,,, please advise

Thanks for using healthcare Magic.

The increase of blood pressure is probably not related to your change of antidiabetic medication.
These medicines are mean to control your blood sugar and in my view levimir is doing it accordingly.

Your need is now to change or increase the dose of co-diovan not the levimir. If any patient presents to me with similar complain my first suggestion would be co diovan 160/25 mg.
