Should Lisinopril Be Continued In Spite Of Having Normal Blood Pressure Levels?

I have been on blood pressure medication since befor I had a kidney removed . I was very stressed and worried and blood pressure was white high. Since surgery I have still been on meds of lisinoprol 10 mg twice a day and metoprolol 50 mg once a day. I have been walking and exceed using daily and bp has gone down. Have not taken medication for more than a week and stats are anywhere from 94/78 to 138/79 after a four mile walk. May question is should I stay on the medication and if so can it cause damage to my remaining kidney. The nurse said keep tracking but if it gets to 140/90 it is stroke possibility

Hello
This might be due to the treatment you are taking fir your blood pressure. Do not stop your medication yourself as it can cause high BP.
I suggest you to visit your doctor if you are having persistently low BP your treatment might be titrated down a little.

I hope I have answered your query.
