General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, taking Micardis HCT along with Metoprolol can lower your blood pressure and slow your heart rate which may result in dizziness, weakness, and fainting. Consult your doctor for a possible dose adjustment or an effective alternate or need your blood pressure checked more often to safely use both medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
