Should Primolut-N Be Taken On The Fifth Day Of Menstrual Cycle?

Hai ,doctor,I am having irregular periods with a history of PCOD,,,and I was prescribed with primolut n 5 mg bid for 5 Days and today it's my second day of periods and my question is when I have to take the tablet again on third day of periods or fifth day for 21 days....thanku....

Hi I think you can take it from 3rd day of your periods for 21 days. I think you should do a thyroid profile and prolactin level also. You can take primolut N but it is better to take a combination of oestrogen and progesterone. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
