Should Progyluton Be Continued Or Stopped Till Bleeding Ends?

I am tryng to get pregnant from last 4 years.... i ve history of irregular periods.... my doc ask me to take progyluton for 3 months... its 2nd month nw and i am ving my periods again on 14th day mean my periods started on 13th june nd i start taking pill on 5th day as advised... now i again ve my periods today i-e 26th june... should i continue the pills or stop it till bleeding stop???

Hello,

You have not mentioned whether you are taking 21 days kit or 28 days kit. Follow the instructions on the label. Progyluton is a hormone medicine & is used to treat irregularities of the menstrual cycle. Since you are trying to conceive, you are suggested to get all infertility tests done (for wife & husband both). You will be treated for irregular menses, tested & treated for ovulation. Semen analysis of your spouse will be done & treated if required. In the meantime, take food rich in minerals. Take nuts, dry fruits, fleshy fruits, high protein diet. Stay away from stress & addictions if any.
