Should TB Medicines Be Continued When Diagnosed With Latent Tuberculosis?
Hello doc, My 3mnth old daughter has been diagnosed with latent tuberculosis through mantoux test (15*12 induration).her paed has prescribed Macox ZH kid for 2mnths which she is continuing but will change dosage level after that till 6mnths..kindly suggest if its mandatory to continue TB med till 6mnths?

A full course of drugs is mandatory and otherwise, it will lead to something called resistance TB in which routine anti TB drugs will not act.
Continue the drugs as prescribed by your physician to prevent unwanted complications.
