Should Thyronorm Be Stopped Based On This Thyroid Profile Report?
I have done the thyroid profile test yesterday. Readings are T3, Free; FT3 @ 2.58pg/mL Range 2.30 - 4.20 T4, Free; FT4 @ 1.00ng/dL Range 0.89 - 1.76 TSH, Ultrasensitive @ 2.026uIU/mL Range 0.550 - 4.780 I am taking thyronorm 25mcg. Even yesterday morning before sample collectin I had taked the medicine. When should I stop taking thyonorm
The sample may have been taken before you took the medication but there would still be some in your system from the previous day dosage.
The normal results indicate that the medication is working, it has normalized your thyroid hormone levels. If you decrease it or stop it then the hormone levels are likely to decrease again.
If you are having problems with the medication, you may want to discuss with your doctor.
I hope this helps
