Should A Bullet Shot Through The Ear Causing Pain Be Left Unattended?
My family relative got shot in the head. The bullet went through his left ear and did not exit. The bullet is still in his head and he has severe pain. This happened yesterday morning and the doctors have not done nothing but give him pain medicine. I would like a second opinion on what to do .

obviously this case is an emergency case and should be immediately evaluated in medical emergency
after all a gun shot is always dangerous specially if it is on face and head or brain
if a bullet left inside may lead to nearby tissue necrosis and infection which may further lead to brain infection and irreversible brain damage
i would strongly suggest you to take him to the hospital to further evaluate the condition
