General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Normal oxygen level for healthy lungs falls between 80 and 100 millimetres of mercury (mm Hg). The level of oxygen 72 % causes hypoxemia. This can lead to complications in body tissue and organs. So, I recommend sending your wife to the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
