Should Alternating MeftalP For Crocin Help To Reduce The Fever?
My 12 yr old kid has fever and a loose stomach since yesterday. Stool has been passed only twice today. Past and smelly. Fever started this morning at 10:00 am. Went to 103 and have given him three doses of Crosin from 10 AM till 10PM. At 10-2-7. Fever keeps reaching 103 within 4 hours. Pls advise if I should alternate with meftal P for tonight.

It seems from the history that your 12 year old kid is having fever with diarrhea.
The causes may be gastric infection.This requires treatment for diarrhea and for infection which is by using antibiotics and antidiarrheal drugs.
Crocin and Meftal P both contain paracetamol and they help only for treatment of fever.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for prescription of drugs.
