Should Calcium Supplements Be Taken For Hypothyroidism?

hello, i am having hypothyroid from the past 6 years and i am on thyronorm 100mcg and now my thyroid level has come to normal. my first question is should i take calcium supplements, like shelcal and second can i decrease the dosage to 50mcg as my level is normal now

Presence of normal thyroid status is not natural and it is due to your medicines. Stopping it is not advisable as it is maintaining your thyroid status at normal level.
There is no link of calcium with thyroid gland. If you have low calcium you can take calcium supplement but otherwise there is no need.
If you are above 40 year age you can take calcium with vitamin D after confirmation of deficiency from medical laboratoryas it is deficient in majority of individuals .
