Should Chemotherapy Be Continued While Having Shrinkage In Liver?

My wife has inoperable/ uncurable metastic cancer of the liver. She has been on chemotheraphy every two weeks for 5 months. The cancer is stable and there is some small shrinkage but the chemo has been really tough on her both mentally and physcially losing close to 80 pounds which has the oncology team concerned. Is the chemo shortening her life and comprising quality of life or does the fact that there is the start of shrinking worth staying on the chemo?
