Should Head Pain Caused By An Old Injury Be Of Concern?

My head hurts years after I fell ice skating. I had a big knot on the back of my head but did not go to Dr. until a few weeks after the knot was gone but still had a scab. Should I be concerned that my head hurts years later in the exact spot I had the knot from fall?
