Should Headaches Along With Facial Pain And Swelling Be Considered A Medical Emergency?

My Uncle went to the doctor Monday and was told he had cellulitsis on his face & eye area which is swollen up taking augmentum for 2 days (since Monday evening, has pain in face and continues to have headaches swelling when down a little over night but flaired back up again. Wondering if he should go to ER or urgent center?

If the infection is spreading, it is better to rush to hospital and he has to start on IV antibiotics. Mild pain and discomfort may not require emergency intervention.
