Should I Apply Candid Mouth Paint For An Infection On Inner Lip?

Hi,
I'm a 53 year old female. A pharmacist recommended that I used candid mouth paint for an infection I got after I bit my inner lip while eating too soon after a dental appointment.

He said to use it five times a day. Do I rinse my mouth with it or apply to the area?

As per your complain Candid Mouth Paint is an anti-fungal medicine used to treat fungal infections and mouth paint is indicated to be applied over the area of infection and not to gargle..

As you have bitten your inner lip during eating too fast, you need not to worry about it, as it will heal soon as the blood supply inside oral cavity is profuse..

In case if you are experiencing any pain or inflammation at the area of bite you can simply apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine..
Take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do cool compresses over the area..
Take a soft diet and avoid spicy food to prevent irritation.

Application of candid is recommended in case of only fungal infection and does not seems to be needed in your case..
