Should I Be Concerned As My Son Sticks His Tongue Out All The Time With Drool?

Hello I have a question my 21 month old son was in the er 5 days ago after being taken by ambulance from walk in. He had sudden onset of fever 103, cold symptoms and started drooling while we were at walk in. In er they did an xray which they said looked suspicious for epiglotitis. The ent came in and went down his throat really quick and said it wasn't. They did bloodwork and he tested positive for influenza A. Now we are home and he has all the sudden started sticking his tongue out all the time with drool which he has never done before. Should we be concerned

Sir some bacterial pathology should also be ruled out for such symptoms.
Relevant antibiotic and analgesic along with antipytretics may help in reliving such symptoms.
