Hi,
If you have missed the pills at a stretch and did not make up or was too late to make up, then your cycle is not protected. The only thing you can do at present is to wait for your next period and go for a home pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample of urine 3-7 days later if you miss it. If you wish for a better and an earlier confirmation, you can go for the serum bet-hCG estimation. Hormones do effect the pregnancy if they are taken well after the first month of conception when there is sexual differentiation; intake prior to that is usually harmless. Hope this helps.
