II had a surgery last year in November.I had a 2cm lump in mi right breast.it ws diagnosed benign.throughout the year I had a slight pain in mi breast wich goes into ARM but after period it goes away.but since I'm ving a continues heaviness in arm, slight pain in breast but not in particular area.now plz answer is ther smthing to worry
During premenstrual phase some amount of breast tenderness and heaviness can be seen due to the effect of hormones, which usually subsides after periods. So according to your description there is possibility of PMS (Premenstrual syndrome). Supplements of evening Primrose oil and vitamin E can help in PMS related breast pain.
But as you are having previous history of lump in right breast, better to get reviewed. Please consult your Gynecologist once, get examined. If the size of the lump is increasing you may need sonomammography including the axilla, FNAC and depending on the diagnosis removal of lump may needed.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
