Should I Be Worried About The Bump And Tiredness After Hitting My Head?
I just hit my head a little less than an hour ago against my car door frame and I have a huge bump over my left brow bone. I have a slight headache and I'm tired since I've been up all day moving furniture. Should I be concerned for any signs of trauma? Am I safe to go to bed?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it is a trauma to the head, and there could be concussion type of head injury. Now the symptoms dizziness, and vomiting may not be there , but may show in 24 hours. I advise you to consult a neurosurgeon for diagnosis. You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ranitidine, paracetamol, diclofenac till the diagnosis is established. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
