Should I Be Worried About The Dent In Forehead After Injury?

My son (3 years old) bumped his head on the 31st and had a large lump on his head (goose egg size) he developed a black eye on the side he bumped a day after which has dlowly spread to the other side. He has a slight dent in his forehead but I'm unsure if this is just swelling. Is this normal?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it only a swelling due to injury to the multiple blood vessels.
He should be taken to the surgeon, as early as possible, to prevent the black spots on the face which may become permanent, for a long time.
He may need to have M.R.I.for excluding the head injury though possibility is less, it is is a must to exclude it.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
