Should I Be Worried About The Heart Beat Skip?

My heart skips a beat/ flutters for a few minutes after my first glass of alcohol. I have been to my Gp about the heart skipping but they didn't seem to concerned but it still frightens me. I am a 25 year old female non smoker and part time worker and also a mum.

Hi!
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
The feeling of rest or time off beating heart is the result of extrasystole.
They sometimes can be felt like strong, isolated heart beat.
Considering your age most probably they don't have any medical significance.
Extrasystole may due to nervous tension.
You don't have to worry about this.

Take care
