Should I Be Worried About The Pain In Shoulder Blades After Epidural Shots?
hello! So I have a pinched nerve at L5-S1 that I have been dealing with for a few months now. Had an MRI and my doctor has recommended epidural shots. I got my first one on Tuesday and about an hour ago I ve felt major pain between my shoulder blades (right side) when I take a deep breath. It is hurting pretty bad and I m concerned.
Some pain after the shot is normal anyway it can subside gradually as time passes. You should follow the injections as recommended by your doctor. Take ibuprofen for the pain right now.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
