Should I Be Worried About The Severe Pain In Head After Injury?

Hi, My son is complaining his head hurts in a certain spot. He is 9. He says that he hit his head at school a year ago, fell down, and then couldn't remember what he was going to say. He has mentioned it to since then but I thought nothing of it. But he says it really hurts now. Could it be anything serious after all this time?

Thank you for asking!
trauma to the head that before of a year is hardly correlated with headaches. But headache may be a symptom or an excuse of a child to spare himself of some burden like studies and home work. But any ways give him some acetaminophen and rest. It will go away. nothing to worry about. If head hitting has not shown any thing in a year i am sure a simple headache has nothing to do with it. if the problem persists get him to a paediatrician and let them help it.
take care
