Should I Be Worried As I Am Having Painful Burping, Bloating, Vomiting And Discomfort In The Abdomen And Chest Area?
Hi I am female aged 45, 8.5 stones. For just over 1 year I have had painful burping, this is continuous and almost always violent and uncontrollable. I feel constantly bloated, sometimes want to vomit with this and generally I am in a bit of discomfort in the abdomen and chest area.
Feeling constantly bloated, vomiting and discomfort in abdomen and chest area could be related to: - Gastritis/GERD - gallbladder/liver/pancreas problems - intestinal issues (candida/parasitic infections).
It is a must to run some more tests to identify the real underlying problem of yours including: - upper endoscopy - abdominal ultrasound - liver/pancreas function tests - culture of feces for candida - examination of stool for ova/parasites.
Based on the lab results, the most appropriate treatment will be prescribed.
Meanwhile, you should eat healthy, avoid foods causing bloateness and burping and to drink more water.
Hope it helped! Dr.Klerida
