Hello, I lost my voice due to a cold nearly a week ago and i still didn t fully recover. I m starting to get worried because I m a high performance singer. It s getting better but it s still not totally healed. Also I m a smoker and I smoked weed like every single day since i lost my voice but i have been taking super smooth bong hits so it doesn t hurt my voice

Hi,

Whatever be the quality of the cannabis you are using, the vocal cords invariably get exposed to some smoke and are liable to get damaged. Since your voice problem started after a cold, it is also possible that there is some residual infection and you may need a course of antibiotics for complete recovery. So, in my opinion, you should see a doctor so that you can be treated early and adequately. Meanwhile, gargle with warm saline frequently.

Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
