Should I Be Worried Of Having Burning Pain And Pressure In Center Of Chest While Having Food?

everytime I swallow food or drink, I have a burning pain along with non stop preasure in center of chest. I have been treating acid reflux for about 6 years. But I have never had pain like this, which started about 2 weeks ago. Do I need to be worried? should I make an appointment with my doctor?

Hi and welcome to HCM,

Did you undergo barium swallow (esophagogram and endoscopy). Are you taking antacids and Cimetidine. Maintain timely diet. Avoid spicy food. Take plenty of milk. Nothing to worry. Follow GERD diet and continue medicines as per your doctor recommendation.

Wish you speedy recovery

Thanks
