Should I Be Worried Of My Heart After Having Episodes Of Chest Pain, Numb Arm, Shoulder Pain And Difficulty In Taking Deep Breath?

I have episodes of chest pain, upper left, sometimes my arm goes numb and my shoulder hurts. Sometimes taking a deep breath is painful. Ibuprofen relieves these symptoms. I don't have high blood pressure but I was a smoker for a long time, and I still chew nicotine gum. Should I be worried about my heart? I assume that since ibuprofen works, it's a muscle issue, not a heart issue.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, of course Ibuprofen helps you, but that does not mean that this not the acid reflex problem, If I would be your doctor then I would put you on proton pump inhibitor and the best drug would be "Omeprazole" 40 mg once in day at evening time for six week and go for EKG test this is also equally important, just nothing to worry about this this will come around take care and have nice day.
