Should I Be Worried That I Am Pregnant?

I have been on birth control for over 12 years and have not missed one dose. This past week I had sex without a condom 4 different times, (he did not cum inside of me) and am now a week late. (However my period has always been a little flakey) Should I be worried that I am pregnant?

Hi,

If you are on birth control, you need not worry for conception, even if you had unprotected sex but if you had left taking pills and had unprotected sex. There is chance of conception. It can be confirmed or excluded by home pregnancy test after 8 days of delay in periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
