Should I Consult A Doctor As My Left Ear Canal Is Swollen And Cannot Hear From That Ear?

Left ear canal swollen shut. Have not been able to hear out of the ear for 48 hours. Not much discomfort but I can't get my molar teeth to touch on that side. Most discomfort comes from chewing. Does not seem to be an inner ear problem because I flew yesterday with no additional discomfort. The day before this started I may have been a little aggressive with a wash cloth cleaning my ears, but no more than I normally do and this has never happened.
Should I wait it out of see a doctor?

hello. i dont think you should wait and should meet your doctor as soon as you can, you may have damaged the skin of the ear canal and its better to have it checked. thanks
