Should I Continue Nicip For Recurring Cold And Cough?

i have got bad cold and running nose, head ache boy pain, strengtless and feels like fever cant feel the temperature. i had taken nicip cold one capsule and a paracetamol. i felt better overnight.

now feeling cold and cough again, d i need to continue nicip or its of no use

Looking at your symptoms, you are suffering from cold and sinusitis.

You found relief with the medicine-Nicip cold.It contains Chlorpheniramine(Antihistaminic),Nimesulide(Analgesic), Phenylephrine (Decongestant)and Caffeine.Nimesulide is banned in many countries due to its side effect.So it is better to avoid this medicine.

You may find relief by taking Analgesic (like Ibuprofen), Antacid (like Rantac), Antihistaminic (like Cetrizine), Oral Decongestant (like Phenylephrine), Nasal Decongestant (like Oxymetazoline) and a Cough Expectorant (like containing Ambroxol).

Also do steam inhalation.Avoid cold,oily and very sweet food as they increase the mucus production.Avoid dust, smoke and other pollutants.Drink plenty of fluids (warm).
