Should I Go For Hysterectomy For Controlling Excessive Bleeding?

Hi can my daughter get a hysterectomy at age of 34 because of excessive bleeding for many years.She has been on birth control pills and the birth control shot and it does not work.My daughter has epilepsy and she does not want kids because of her seizures.And her meds interact with the birth control and she end up in the er. Her doctor said that she will not do a hysterectomy on her but she would place a iud in her but my daughter and I do not want that done because I have read that the iud is not safe. Can you help me. Thanks.
