Should I Meet Doctor After Experiencing Breathing Problem, Headache, Runny Nose And Fever After Exposing To Paint?
Hi Good day! I had paint exposure for 10 hours, immediately I felt difficulty of breathing which I know was caused by blockage in my larynx. I am now experiencing headache, runny nose, and fever. Shall I seek medical advice or a rest will suffice. Thank you.
Hi Welcome to health care magic. The symptoms of headache, shortness of breath and discomfort in laryngeal area are all indicative of either a hypersensitivity reaction or it may be reactionary to the chemical in the paint. Such problems should be brought to immediate notice of a local health care facility because at times there may be rapid onset of choking from upper airway swelling and there may not be enough time to go to hospital. So you should reach nearest health care facility at your earliest and get evaluated and treated for the same. Mostly if you reach in time simple treatment for a day or two is sufficient. I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
