Should I Start Lactogen Milk If My Baby Cries Even After Feed?

Hello Doctor, I am having 1 month 6 days Baby girl , Since the birth i was breastfeeding my daughter but now i feel that that is not enough for her. Even after feed she still keep crying but i can't produce more milk to feed her. Because of that she has also lost her weight. So, please suggest me can i start Nestle Lactogen milk for her. Please advise. Thanks

Hi, for my patients I advice exclusive breast feeding atleast for 4 monts. Usually milk will be produced due to the release of prolactin which depends on your mental status. So spend more time with the baby. More care, more bondage, more time you spend with her with suckling the breast milk will produce in adequate quantity. Avoid taking multivitamin tablets with Vitamin B6 as this will rduce milk secretion.

If even after this milk is reduced then consuly your doctor once for examination and then can plan for lactogen.
