I am 14 week pregnant now and had a history of 8 weeks of miscarriage before.few weeks back bleeding started with my current pregnancy and when we went for check up.scan was normal.baby s heartbeat was regular.after 3 4 days bleeding stopped. But again from past 3 days bleeding started with small clots.when checked with doc she mentioned to take sylate 500 mg to stop bleeding.I didn t go for scan again this time.please suggest if it is safe to take this medicine now or should I go for scan again?

Dear madam,I understand your concern.in.my opinion it is safe to take sylate 500mg.but its better to do an ultrasound ..also find the cause of bleeding like any harmonal ,thyroid abnormalities or any other cause by consulting your doctor and take apt treatment.first of all dont take mental or physical strain and take good rest.dont worry cases like this are seen and may continue till term.hope for the best.
