Should I Undergo Ultrasound For Irregular Periods?

hi doctor..!! am 19 years old.. my monthly periods are not regular..i hv consulted the docter before in the month of october and explained my problem .. she prescribed me a course of tablets ..aftr using those tablets i got my monthly periods.. then again am unable to get now.. what might be the problem......?? do i need to go for any ultrasounds for this..?? please help me...
