Should My Father Go To A Doctor For A Week Old Flu?

My husband has either a cold or the flu. He has had a flu shot. He has been unwell for approximately one week now and is very unsteady on his feet and from most recently has began to shake. He is 85 years old. Should he be going to a doctor or should I wait to see if the cold subsides.

Hello there,
Welcome to Healthcare magic,

I suggest you to go for a physician visit, since it is been a week since your husband experiencing this condition, with associated shivering needs intervention.

Try to avoid cold climate.
Take care.
