Should Numbness In The Fingers Be Treated Immediately?
Hi, I have numbness in my little finger and the finger next to it in my right hand only. I have had Cervical Fusion on C5 & C6 of mine spine. As 2 discs where bulging. This was in 2010. Do I need to consult a doctor immediately or should I wait a few days. Always unsure and don't want to waist their time. Thank You

Should Numbness In The Fingers Be Treated Immediately?
** Thanks for contacting with your health concern. 1. As there is a history of cervical fusion also, thus you should visit an Orthopedic surgeon/Neurosurgeon to exclude two possibilities: i. It could be because of thoracic outlet syndrome, cervical syndrome, pinched nerve, cervical herniated disc OR ii. numbness could be due to ulnar nerve entrapment PS. to determine the cause an MRI of cervical spine and elbow is indicated with relevant examination
