Should One Withdraw From Opiates After Failing A Drug Test?

If you fail a drug test at pain management they can kick you out, I know, but do they have to prescribe you medication to taper off of your medication. Can they kick you out with 1 week of medication left when you will go through serious withdrawl from the opiates they prescribe you?

Hello,

There is a different time which a drug test from opiates can be covered to negative.
It can be from days to weeks according to the longevity of usage and dosage taken.
If you stop them you may need two weeks to clear it out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
