Hi, I m getting a nose job on march 16, like about a month. I used to smoke cigarettes but I already quit because I read somewhere that I was bad for your healing. But, I also smoke weed. Do I need to stop smoking it to? Does it affects my healing? Or causes any complication? How long do I have to stop smoking weed is it a month okay? Or I need to reschedule? I smoked yesterday for the last time.
Hello..Yes you need to stop smoking weed also as it can interfere with the surgery and also may interfere with healing process..Its recommended that you should not smoke 2 months prior and after the surgery..You need not reschedule if you don't smoke further..Consult your treating surgeon in this regard too and decide further..Take care..
