Should The ER Be Visited For Dim Vision And Slow Gait?

My girlfriend just payed down and her vision started dimming. No other symptoms besides seeming out of it and walking very slowly. She has a doctors appointment soon for what we think may be a gluten intolerance, so she has been eating it to properly test. Should I take her to the emergency room or just wait for the appointment?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Take her now to the ER. The sudden dimness of vision is always ominous and it can be a retinal problem.

Hope it helps.
