Should The Cherry Angiomas On The Arms And Throat Be Concerned?
Hi I'm a 22 year old male. I have had several cherry angiomas turn up on my arms one just at the bottom of throat. Though they are small. One is below my chest slightly larger than the rest and I think has been getting bigger over months. it is around 3mm. Is this root for concern?
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic, Cherry angiomas are benign lesions and there is no reason to panic. 3 mm lesion is alright. Even though it can become a little bigger it will never grow to a very large size which causes disfigurement. If you want it to be removed you can get an electrocautery done by a dermatologist, a simple office procedure. Hope this helped, Take care.
Hello, Thanks for the query, Cherry angioma is a completely normal thing. It is dialated blood vessel. no treatment needed. A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis. Let me know if you have any other doubt. you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link. http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-rahul-kumar/64818 Wishing you a good health.
