Should The Dropped Mesh Implant Be Removed And Are There Any Complications In Removing The Mesh?
I have been consulting a urologist for the past 3 months in nyc. I had a mesh implant done two years ago and 6 months later, it failed. I was told the mesh dropped and should be removed. as of last week, I decided after a series of bladder infections to discuss this with a top nyc doctor. I read this removal of the mesh has to be done perfect or complications could occur. that is why a top urologist is next for me. there is an odor, says my daughter and I am so very embarrassed. Please advise. Thanks so much. My email is: YYYY@YYYY
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. You had mesh implant 6months ago, six months latter it has failed. Your daughter experiencing some smell. It appears that you have some smell, due to infection. I advise you to consult an urologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a M.R.I. for diagnosis. You may need to cure the infection first, and then it is to be removed to prevent spread of the infection to other tissues. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you. .
